Ma che bello!
Unfortunately, I missed the first five minutes of this movie, as I stayed chatting with some fellow students after class (even though I really enjoy going to the cinema, and like doing so alone, I do feel that social contact is important, too).
I was still able to follow the movie very easily, so I don’t think I missed anything too important. Also, I love listening to Italian and am surprised how much of my High School knowledge has sticked, so that I managed almost without paying too much attention to the subtitles.
The movie itself is hilarious! It’s full of sexual allusions going from a proposal in the dark, cave-like basement full of big Italian sausages, to back and forth cuttings between Emerenziano’s numerous nightly activities and chicken climbing on top of each other, which provoked many „ho, ho, ho“s in the rather elderly audience.
Insomma, mi è davvero piaciuto!
