For some reason I was a little disappointed with this movie. I’m afraid it’s probably the „Oscar nomination expectation“, which always leaves you with high hopes, especially since Olivia Coleman is nominated for Best Leading Role, Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz for Best Supporting Role, and the movie for Best Picture.

Despite my small disappointment, I did enjoy the actresses‘ performances, especially Olivia Coleman’s as Queen Anne. The whole film is so exaggerated and ridiculous that it is extremely funny at times, but rather random at others.
