This movie poster was all over the place, but I never went to see it, as the poster absolutely didn’t appeal to me. However, after numerous people had suggested it to me, I finally went to see it after my morning babysit + jog session. The screening thus starting at 9.35, I was the only one in the theatre and it kinda creeped me out. Five minutes into the movie another person came in and that creeped me out even more, as she sat down behind me. I’m not usually paranoid, but I remembered a movie in which a character was stabbed from behind while watching a movie in the cinema…
Anyway, my smoothie soothed me and I delved into the movie – and really enjoyed it!! Clint Eastwood’s character is multifaceted ; he’s funny, hateful, loving, egoistic and many other contradictory characteristics, but all of them combined make him human and compassionate. Also, the fact that Clint Eastwood not only performs in the film but also directs it somehow makes it even more enjoyable. I felt for Earl and the never ending troubles he gets himself into. I’m definitely glad I went to see it!
