I like Juliane Moore and the plot description appealed to me; single woman in her fifties enjoying her freedom in LA until she starts a passionate affair. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a rather poor plot. So poor in fact that the person in front of me actually started snoring – and I didn’t even get mad (I usually despise any noise during movies, so that I tap people’s shoulders and ask them to please shut up, but this time I understood).

Juliane Moore was quite nice, her performance was good and I enjoyed her character but the other characters were rather flat and not very intriguing. On the whole I found the movie pretty boring and didn’t specifically enjoy it, I checked my watch frequently to see how many minutes there were left…
But to be fair, that was the second movie I saw in a row, and I liked the first one better….so tough luck.
