Vad bra film!
I absolutely loved this movie! As I love Swedish and Sweden I couldn’t wait to finally see this movie! I got lucky, this may be the last movie I was able to see in Paris before summer!
I also grew up with Astrid Lindgren’s „Pippi Langstrump“ (in German), so it was jättekul to know more about her life, as I did not know a thing, except that she was Swedish.

Her personal story is heartbreaking and beautiful all the same and Alba August portrays her really nicely, in my opinion. The voiceovers of kids writing letters to Astrid fit nicely within the story and are very moving.

Jag verkligen älskar den här filmen! Tack så mycket för den! 🙂
